Crystalis VR is a game inspired by retro puzzlers like Columns and Tetris, with the goal of combining a retro game to life in a synesthetic experience full of color, movement and sounds where the player is in the center of the universe. This is a non violent, casual and replayable game, that also includes an online leaderboard component. A thematic room for social VR was built to host meetups, and to reinforce the idea that the internet can be a place and that events that happen in one experience can have repercussions in others. In this case the leaderboard on the wall is the same as the one from the game. One of the main goals was to support as many devices as possible under the time constraints and performance considerations, so here are the modes: *Oculus Go, Gear VR and Daydream with a wired/wireless gamepad, and it can also be played with the 3dof controller on the Go and Gear VR. *Phones with a virtual touchscreen gamepad. *Desktop VR with Firefox & Chrome, keyboard and gamepad. *Desktop 2D with keyboard, gamepad and Xbox controller. Accessibility: Performance mode for lower end machines and phones. Distinct crystal shapes and reflections. (Tested with two users with color vision impairments with no issues but more testing is needed) Varied input options to accomodate users, doesn't use motion for controls. This game was possible thanks to all the open source libraries and tools available, samples from freesound.org, the friendly XR community and the patient testers.
