Room Simulator is an audio sandbox that lets you listen and learn the different ways that physical materials reflect and absorb sound. The simulator comes with six presets that use material absorption coefficients to replicate acoustic environments.
To start, click on the red-object to begin audio. This sound object can be moved anywhere within the cube. (Throw it in a corner and hear how it sounds!)
From there, toggle back and forth between materials to learn how they affect the sound!
This experience was created with Google Resonance and is one of the first 6DOF ambisonic webvr demos. This scene works across Desktop, Mobile, HTC Vive, and Oculus Rift + Go.
Please wear headphones! Enjoy!
